A regional fitness chain plans to open a location in Prattville this summer.

Club4Fitness is coming to the Prattville Shopping Center at the corner of East Main Street and McQueen Smith Road. It will feature cardio and strength equipment, a sports performance and functional training area with turf, group fitness classes, tanning beds, hydromassage and locker rooms with showers. Members will have round-the-clock access. The company said membership starts at $15 a month with no commitment, with child care available for an additional fee.

Club4Fitness currently has nine facilities open or in the works across Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Prattville location is scheduled to open in late summer.

The club plans to offer discounts to military veterans and city employees, including fire and police.
