This exercise may not be the easiest, but it sure is an effective one. It works your lower and upper abs, and can help you tone your core and build strength. It can pump you up with energy, and with a few reps, you will get the hang of it.

How to perform the double leg lift

  • Lie on your back.
  • Extend the legs up to the ceiling, straight, forming a 90 degree angle between your legs and the floor.
  • Keep your arms on the sides.
  • Engaging your core, bring your legs down together.
  • Right before touching the floor, take them back up, making the 90 degree angle with the floor again.
  • This will make 1 rep.
  • Do 15 reps, and 3 sets of the exercise.

Some tips you can use –

  • You may even do this exercise in bed, if you feel too lazy to get up.
  • If the exercise feels too much, you may bring your legs back to the floor and then take them back up again, for the first few days.
  • Make sure your body from your lower back to your head does not rise off the floor as you perform the exercise.
